I was born on March 13, 1999 into an incredibly loving Greek-Italian American family. Having suffered from supra-ventricular tachycardia at just ten days old, I was raised with a great sense of mortality and gratitude for every moment I have had the privilege of living.

I was brought up speaking both Greek and English having spent most of my young life under the watchful eyes of my parents and grandparents, and from a very young age I have always had a passion for learning as much as I can.

I attended St. Joseph Hill Academy Elementary School, where I found my love of sports, participating in Soccer, Basketball, Baseball, and Swimming. I have continued the tradition into the present by coaching my younger siblings' teams at the very same institution.

Here also is where my passion for STEM was kindled, winning the CYO Science Olympics at age 10 and becoming a mentor, being honored by John's Hopkin's University at age 11, and winning the school's science fair in my final year.

My four years at Regis High School were the most transformative of my life. I grew in every way imaginable: as a son, a brother, a spiritual "man for others," a worker, a leader, and most importantly of all as myself.

I learned poise and sophistication in public speaking, serving as the president of the Hearn's esteemed debate society. Through my leadership in Christian Service and Campus Ministry, I learned leadership, compassion, and understanding. And from my incredible peers, to whom I owe much of my character, I learned that everyone has value, that the best learning I'll ever do will be from discourse with the people around me, and that it's always important to have some fun.

Life4

At the present, I am a student at the Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. I have been able to flourish here: heading up engineering projects, initiating discussions of change in administration, developing a Regis/Cooper Alumni affinity group, and participating in several student run organizations among other things.

The possibilities are endless at this school and I intend to take advantage of every single bit of it.
